Exercises for the wrist
The wrist connects the forearm to the hand. Because we use the hand for so many things, the wrist is also heavily loaded. With the right exercises complaints can often be remedied well.
Complaints of the wrist
Many complaints of the wrist arise from overuse of the tendons that run to the hand. But problems can also arise when you try to break a fall. Or if there is a joint disorder such as osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis. In most cases it is sensible to do exercises that make the wrist stronger and more stable again.
Start now with exercises for the wrist
Our physiotherapists have put together exercise programmes especially for wrist complaints. These exercises are intended to reduce the complaints. In addition, you reduce the chance that the complaints will return, because the wrist becomes stronger. You can therefore contribute to your own recovery. The exercise programme comes with clear instructions and videos. You always know exactly what to do.
An overview of all exercise programmes for the wrist can be found below. Do the self-check first if you are not yet sure which condition you need an exercise programme for.
