Ibuprofen

Ibuprofen is both an anti-inflammatory and a painkiller and is often used for physical complaints that involve inflammatory symptoms. It suppresses pain and reduces inflammation.

Because ibuprofen does not address the cause of complaints, it is recommended to also consult a physiotherapist. The physiotherapist can investigate whether the pain and/or inflammatory symptoms fall within their field and start treatment if necessary.
